The Marco Polostraat is located in the west of Amsterdam and is part of the popular Baarsjes district.
The name of the district De Baarsjes is derived from the former community of De Baarsjes. This was located on the Kostverlorenvaart, near the Wiegbrug. The Baarsjesweg is also named after this.

The house is located in a quiet street with lots of greenery. In the immediate vicinity are Jan Evertsenstraat and Mercatorplein, both with a variety of shops and supermarkets, many coffee shops, restaurants, cafes, the Foodhallen, Rembrandtpark and Erasmuspark. The district has an excellent connection with public transport and is conveniently located for the highways (A10).

Entrance
The front door is located on the ground floor in a small porch. The front door can be opened from the inside with intercom system. You reach the first floor via the indoor hall and stairs with the private entance.

Once on the first floor there is a small landing. At the rear is a bedroom which now serves as a children’s room. A separate toilet can also be reached from here.

Through French doors you first enter a spacious, modern kitchen with all built-in appliances. The kitchen also has a spacious balcony on the south west, which can be reached through patio doors.

At the front is the spacious living room. The facade is three windows wide so there is a lot of natural light. There is also air conditioning for the increasingly hot summers.

Through the living room there is a staircase to the third floor. Once upstairs you come to a spacious landing. There are no fewer than 2 rooms at the front, 1 of which is the master bedroom. The roof of the house is very high here and there is a cute dormer window which gives the bedroom a romantic atmosphere. There is enough space for a cupboard and here too there is air conditioning for a good night’s sleep during the summer months.

Back in the hall you will find the closed laundry room and a large luxurious bathroom with bath and walk-in shower.
